2023 Top Remaining NBA Free Agents, After the first couple of days

Another year gone by another big list of free agents in the NBA. After just 2 days, many players have already signed to come back to their teams or with a new team. The top players such as Khris Middleton, Brook Lopez, Kyrie Irving, Fred Van Vleet and others have already signed. Here is a list of remaining players that might be worth signing. This does not include James Harden or Dame Lillard who have requested trades but are currently under contract.

Those Available who can help a team's rotation.

1.  - PJ Washington - As a restricted free agent, it is very likely that the Hornets bring him back or match any deal offered. He had his best year last year and is still young.

2. Mason Plumlee - A quality center in the league still and can either start or backup for a good team. Looks like he will have to end up being a backup with the lack of cap space and roster spots left already. - Ended up resigning with the Clippers to be a backup. Claimed to turn down higher offers to come back.

3. Kelly Oubre Jr - The last couple of years he has been quiet, but that is mostly because he has been in Charlotte. One of the few teams with money left will give him some, it could be Charlotte.

4. Christian Wood - After a big trade brought him to Dallas, he had a very disappointing season. Is it possible he just had a couple good seasons and is no more than a rotation player on an average team?

5. Lonnie Walker - An up and down season in L.A. for him, but he will earn some bench minutes on a team. Will probably go wherever he can get the most money at this point, which won't be much. - Signed with the Brooklyn Nets, will have a chance to contribute in the rotation.

6. Mo Bamba - Unfortunately was hurt almost the entire time after being traded to the Lakers, so he will not make as much money as he would otherwise. Might have to redeem himself this year with a minimum contract and show he is still a contributor.

7. Will Barton - See Kelly Oubre. Was once a starter not too long ago on Denver. He still has room to contribute.

8. Malik Beasley - Started well with the Lakers before falling out of the rotation in the playoffs. Will also have to redeem himself. - Signed with the Bucks at the minimum.

9. - Matisse Thybulle - After asking for a trade out of Philly, he now will end up in the same position, just on another team.

10. Grant Williams - A restricted free agent, he is likely to end up staying in Boston based on everything at this point. He is definitely a contributor for a playoff team though.

Those Who Will/Should Retire

1. Udonis Haslem - Has already he announced he will retire.

2. Andre Iguodala - Said before last year it would be his last.

3. DJ Augustin - After making it midway through the year back onto a roster, I wouldn't expect the same thing to happen again. Made the most of his career.

4. Ish Smith - No better way of spending a year with your 13th team than winning a championship. Good time to hang them up rather than hope for the last roster spot on a team.

5. Matthew Dellavedova - Was out of league for a couple of years and made his way back helping the Kings make the playoffs. Not likely going to be back next year and has stated he would love to go home.

6. Danny Green - Has had a great career, but due to injury and age might want to call it a career.

7. James Johnson - His career in the NBA has lasted longer than most would have thought.
